The Hurdel Manufacturing simulation, designed for undergraduate level use, encompasses the areas of Marketing, Management, Accounting, and Finance, and takes place in an online environment. Students will take over the Hurdel Manufacturing Tent Co. and be given the task of turning the firm into a profitable, well run company. Scholars will learn how to use on-line collaborative techniques while utilizing computer-based decision tools. Many aspects of the simulation are customizable by the instructor, although all decisions are processed by the Hurdel.com server, virtually eliminating all processing work. Students will find this interactive case both engaging and practical while instructors will find it easy to implement and enjoy team and industry reports online or delivered to their email address after each period.
